I liked Pop OS but to be frank I feel 21.04 is still buggy and not fully usable right now. I don't know why Elementary OS themselves did not solve this problem yet. (By the way I tried AHCI in BIOS and it didn't work).Ģ021:12:04 - Today, I tried Pop OS 21.04 which uses the same installer of Elementary OS and that one shows all the partition / all disks available in my laptop. Changing from SATA mode to AHCI in BIOS? I don't think this is good option for many people.Ģ021:12:02 - Sadly, I tried again today as the new update came and still the problem won't fix. Installing Ubuntu and Windows 10 is step 6. The fifth step is to boot from a live Ubuntu USB drive. Make sure you have enough free space on your disk for Ubuntu installation in step 4. Step 5: Start the installation of elementary OS. It features polished animations that make navigating the system fee. In here, choose the option to boot from USB or Removable Media. Description: Elementary OS has a reputation of its beauty and simplicity at the heart. You’ll be greeted with an Elementary OS welcome screen and dashboard.
If you have chosen to install Elementary OS alongside Windows, then during your system gets booted, it will ask you to choose which OS, since you’ve installed Elementary OS, so choose that. While booting the computer keep pressing F2, F10 or F12 function key (differs from computer to computer) to go to the boot menu. Step 9) Elementary OS Login Screen and Desktop Dashboard. Although when I click to the bottom left option Modify Partition it shows me all my disks but after modifying all partition when I apply it and go back to proceed the option of "Erase and Install" does not appear as because it does not show any disk. The second step is to download Ubuntu (or any Linux distribution you are using) The third step is to create a live Ubuntu disk/USB drive. Plug the live USB or disk into the computer and restart the computer. It does not show me any disk of my laptop. I can't able to install Elementary OS in dual boot with manual option.
